Hi! I’m Nicole, and I want to write things for you.

I’ve been a writer since I could form letters.
Somewhere in my parents’ basement, there are crudely-drawn “books” and “newspapers,” written and illustrated by Nicole Fallon, Age 4. I showed them off to my preschool teacher and classmates, proudly proclaiming that I was going to be an author when I grew up.
Eventually I graduated from handwritten storybooks to blogging.
I came of age in the bygone era of MySpace and LiveJournal, so I learned to write for the internet before “writing for the internet” was even a career path. As I documented my trivial teenage tribulations on these early blogging and social media platforms, I also learned HTML coding, photo editing, and most importantly, how to string together words that resonated with an audience.
I’ve devoted my education and career to the art of communicating in the digital world.
I entered the world of freelance writing while I was earning my bachelor’s degree in Media, Culture and Communication from New York University. After graduation, I became a journalist. I spent about five years at Business News Daily working in various editorial roles, including staff writer, managing editor, copy editor, and production manager. My byline has also appeared on Huffington Post, Mashable, Yahoo!, CO— by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Business.com, Muck Rack, Ragan/PR Daily, and The Write Life.
Now I’ve made it my mission to help other businesses create amazing content for themselves and their clients.
As the co-founder and CEO of Lightning Media Partners, my team and I offer copywriting, editing, and marketing services for brands that want to scale their content creation.
